This historic stone structure is an incredible find. It was constructed in 1900, when only horses and carriages roamed the area. The first thing that you notice are the 16-inch-thick natural stone walls. They were laid by hand, stone-by-stone. Not only is the natural beauty and strength of this structure impressive, but it makes the home incredibly energy efficient - cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Enter the large stone covered porch, and you'll see the original antique beveled glass atrium door, which opens into the foyer. The main rooms feature large arched doorways. Much of the original handiwork of 1900 is still preserved, including the beautiful hand-textured wall surfaces and genuine wavy-glass windows. The floors feature the original hardwood. As you climb the stairway, you'll notice the towering ceiling above the landing. The 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths upstairs are warm and inviting, and feature hardwood floors and genuine glass doorknobs. Don't miss it!
